Moyes to Sunderland

I think you've forgotten some of the good times under Moyes. We played some excellent football in 07-08 and 08-09 which imo was better then the fluke 2013-14 season. Martinez might be in the frame because he talks a good game but the man is a certifiable clown and doesn't belong at a club any higher then the championship.
Probably be right about early Moyes but as we have debated my judgement is possible clouded by his behaviour towards Utd,but when all said and done Moyes is finished, but Martinez is still going to get a decent job after Belgium have got on to him.

Not many teams have such loyal supporters. Such a great fan base deserve better than this. Poor ownership and management have done this. This could have been Everton, if we had carried on with the previous disastrous set up! We were certainly sinking, and stinking.

Come on mate. Doing a decent job?! He's been there a few mouths and already been booed off?! Anything less then a semi final place in the world cup and he'll of been a miserable failure. It's impossible to really gage how good of a job an international manager does until a tournament because the qualifiers are a joke. Belgium's squad would have to deliberately sabotage it to no qualify from that?! It's basically a part time job.

I haven't said that mate,I said he will still get a decent job after Belgium have got on to him.

The original point being Moyes fell apart immediately after leaving us.
He was there nine mouths not nine weeks. They actually didn't start all that badly it fell apart a few mouths in. Just like El Fraudo will do with Belgium.
He should have left about 3 years before he did.
Agreed.
He is a loser. Has a losers mentality.
If being a loser means i can have Moyes bank balance make me a loser please!

He might. Moyes could of to if he'd of chosen more wisely after Utd. He didn't though. Martinez will get another job after he fails with Belgium and fail again because he's a failure. A showboating grinning joke who makes everyone including himself bealieve his lies.

If Martinez is a fraud then Moyes is even a bigger one. He kept us safely out of the relegation zone (mostly) and didn't win a damn thing. Whoop-de-freakin-do. He could have stayed another decade and he'd still not win anything.

His scam was about making us plucky little Everton...how he gets a pass with so many is beyond me. Won at a 42% rate in his tenure.

He is a loser with a losers mentality.

I never said Moyes was a brilliant success but your deluding yourself if you don't think his early years were important to us. His first seven years here he took a relegation fodder side and transformed us into a side that had the ability to compete for the top four (and actually managed it once) reached a cup final along with two top five finishes. Far from end of the rainbow stuff I agree but far from a disaster when compared to the load of crap of the previous decade before he arrived. His negativity always stopped him progressing but to dismiss his first seven years as being a fraudulent is laughable. Nobody is pretending his time here was amazing but he was always better then Martinez. Even Martinez's one fluke season wasn't as good as three of Moyes. El Fraudo's one fluke season wasn't that much of an improvement from the previous one under Moyes.

No one win a damn thing for the club apart from Royle since the inception of PL.

What Moyes had done was simple. He transferred a mid-lower table team to a top 6/7 team with a very small budget in a couple of seasons...."steady the boat" if you want to call it.

Plucky little Everton? Not anymore now. I am being pragmatic. There are more money to spend.

When you read the list of the past Belgium managers you will say meh...

He got £10m compensation right (life is set) so getting a job is not that hard.
