"MOYES, YOU ARE OUT OF ORDER"

Ah, the old "You're under 30, your opinion is invalid" line. Classic. Even better when it completely backfires on the user as seen below:

Ha ha!

Someone that's seen the great sides of the 70s and 80s reckons Moyes "put Everton back on the map".

Of course.

To be fair, Moyes didn't take over from the 70's or 80's side, if he had, then even with no money for transfers I would be very against his time here as he would of taken us backwards. We are definitely back on the map compared to the 90's sides that were simply awful. Although I guess it depends on what you call back on the map, if its respect and quality, top half and year on year progress, Everton have had it. If its silverware, obviously not.

Look I'm not doubting Moyes did a good job at times for us. As has been said many times he worked exceptionally well on a shoestring budget but he can never be considered a "great manager" as ultimately he never won nor really achieved anything. Also I'd query he oversaw year on year progress.

But this thread isn't about that - its about Moyes' shocking lack of decency.

The obvious ones
*league poisition improvement against the odds
*the very extensive list of quality players bought for very little
*the cup runs
*the wins against big teams
*his class throughout his tenure up until the last couple of weeks
*getting us to Europe
*getting us to a final
*giving us back pride and dignity when we were used to shrugging our shoulders at abysmal losses
*making us believe we could win regardless of the opposition.
Basically taking the 90's team... killing it with fire... and making a decent team from the ashes.
There's plenty more which I have posted before several times but that will do for now I am sure.
But mostly the league position rise and the rise in quality of both our football and our squad, despite the board.

But he was a tw@ about Baines though.

his class now shows through!

thats what he did and only that!

but he also stood by watching kenwhright killing the club just as martinez will!

Well, 'the club' is a fairly elastic concept. Regardless of whether EFC Ltd dont mind (and they said they did, so you're on a fairly sticky wicket there), you should mind when a player like Baines is being snatched away by our former manager.

*waits for 'but it's just business' response*

Are you trying to behave like a bellend to everyone?

As I said we should actively try to sell him. Lets see, it will either go to United, City, or any other club recently funded by another sheikh. We fully look forward to that ~16m.

Its the year 2013 and I am shocked to see people not understanding that players come and go.

Moyes is just doing his job. He knows kenwright will soon crack at the prospect of filling his pockets again

But nobody is moaning about that. We all accept the general principle that anyone at Everton has his price. Which in all honesty is probably true for virtually every player in the world bar Messi and Iniesta!

There is a general reluctance to see the club's best player let go - when he is the best in his position and on top of that shows a grounding that many fans can relate to.

However, the key point here is the conduct of a manager that put in 11 years at one club then looks to royally sh*t on that same club that lauded him as a messiah - whilst still under contract. That is exceptionally bad behaviour any way you look at it. And again, just like the last two games farce - is almost certainly without precedent in the modern game.

So by all means express a different view - that's what a forum is about - but please don't just lump your opponents into the "thick luddite" camp that cannot understand the modern era where money talks.

The reaction of the crowd at the Wigan match set the tone for the future.

Moyes stated that he thought we were Booing the substitution of Fellaini, whereas we were booing the player for a cba attitude & performance. He gave a look to the St. that he had given before when subbing a fwd for a defender and it was met with boo's. He kept schtum whilst still at the club but now he couldnt give a flying if he undoes anything he had done before as he will see it as revenge on the fans that booed.
This not a man that forgives, forgets or accepts any kind of criticism.
