So you sack him in January, when we were actually doing good.

We aren't really though are we?I might be wrong. Okay, it could be sour grapes if I am honest. He has gone and we might be in a mess.

Am I the only one not arsed? I love bainsey like, my favourite an probably put best player.
To see him leave for them is a bit sickening, but what's DNM supposed to do? He wants a player. He isn't our manager anymore? LB hasn't been sold,BK (laughably) told him not to come back for any players.
Typical BK, old fashioned and naive. Players will leave and our new super duper manager has his work cut out to replace them..
Im not arsed either mate.
Its football, as some might know, I was 1 of Moyes biggest "supporters", but hes gone, hes moved on, he knows what kind of player Baines is, not only is he 1 of, if not the best LB in world football, hes also a cracking fella, from what I can tell, good family man who spends his spare time with his family or playing his guitar. I would also imagine hes an utter joy in training.
Then on match days he runs and runs for the full 90minutes, even plays on with injuries, gives the team all hes got and creates so many chances its unreal, from the outside, thats what I see, but im sure Moyes sees more, much more.
I will state again, if Moyes wasnt interested in Baines, he has no right to be a football manager, infact, shame on the other 9000 football managers in the world for not bidding.
Hes bidding actual money, granted 12m is a farce of a bid, but dont ask, dont get, start the bid with a 3 Moyes lad, then we can talk more, otherwise, KOFF LAD, YEAH?
Even then, although not ideal, it will give the manager money to play with, which is unusual for Everton (and Martinez for that matter). i don't want to see either player leave but it won't put us in a mess particularly.Of course not at the moment but if Baines and Fellaini are gone that will be another story. We need to rebuild. Will the replacements be good enough...all that uncertainty but you're right here, we haven't kicked a ball yet.
Spurs would have sent Moyes on his way years ago,The idea that this was done without Moyes instruction is about as believable as 'I'm waiting to see where we finish before signing a new deal'.
This bid was thrown in to stop Baines from signing a contract. Moyes knew we'd reject it. It was done for the attention of the press. Simply an attempt to unsettle the player so that they can drag this out over the summer and nick him on the cheap.
It totally throws our plans into chaos, plans that Moyes professed to be working on after the season ended. In reality he was just hanging around the place trying to suss out which staff and players he could poach.
Would Spurs (for example) have allowed the next UTD manager to run their affairs for even 5 minutes?

Talk sense.
