Mr bates v the Post Office


I'm watching her testimony now. Asking her subordinates to go back to all documents and mark as Legal Privilege. Wow, that can't be anything other than a blatant attempt to avoid her teams obligations to disclose.

Interesting that in the context of this hearing the KC cant go too hard on her. A criminal barrister would rip her a new one in cross examination.

What an awful woman.
 
….this is all about the PO knowing the issues but not thinking of the consequences for those involved. Protecting the brand and progressing prosecution process mattered more than accepting the it was flawed. I haven’t seen a single PO employee provide evidence that they suggested the prosecutions were unsafe and recommending they be stopped.

I worked for a Government Department and there is no way these cases would’ve been endorsed by its legal section.
