Us spending like a drunken sailor is what’s got us into trouble, Chelsea and Boehly will get found out very quickly with this strategy, especially if they don’t win a pot again

We need guys who can turn us from having crap sponsorships and merch deals, into a profitable business to allow us to spend without putting the club in jeopardy

And how do we do that without winning stuff / qualifying for europe ?

Who wants to sponser a no mark club that makes up the numbers to the tune of many millions ?

I called these shysters out months back in that they'll want to milk every last bit of profit out of us.

They'll not last long with this fanbase who are desperate for good times.

I read a couple of pieces saying they were impressed with Thelwell, might be conjecture but it stood out.

Yep , I’ve seen something similar. People are fixated on Thelwell like he’s the problem . The elements of a successful club like Brighton are 3 key things : 1 a knowledgable Owner, 2 a knowledgeable Chairman, 3 a knowledgable CEO . Brighton combine 1 and 2 and have a great CEO , they can change managers and DoFs with little impact. We’ve had none of these 3 for years , and for me thats the major input that MSP can bring , particularly new Chairman and CEO

There are dozens of potential sponsors, like I said the MSP guys will have contacts to cosy up to and get the exposure from the league being shown worldwide
