Their about us/approach section on their site has a heavy emphasis on their providing shared services (they claim near 2,000 employees) to their portfolio companies. Were Everton to become one such portfolio company, then finance, HR, legal, marketing, procurement, IT would all be managed centrally by these guys - not clear if this would be done from the UK or US either but it would invariably be the same teams that are already supporting their other football club portfolio investments.
That also has consequences for the folks in situ at either Goodison/Liver Buildings/BMD in time in that said functions would be either redundant or trimmed back to the the bone. Immediate cost saving for these guys through share services internal outsourcing. As to whether what they can offer as an ‘experienced’ centralised team, who knows.
