I saw that post and it also said he would be given more control which makes you wonder how much say he has had up until now, also we have added a few new people behind the scenes in terms of recruitment staff since the last window.

My guess is he hands Bill a 700 page document with in depth analysis of each player we should sign or manager and Bill throws it in the bin and google player/manager PL experience and then buys or hires one of them

He did not come in as some super football executive with an in depth knowledge of the club. He gave the existing management funding, and funding to an extent we could only have dreamt about. We can now see before our eyes a stadium being built that many believed would never happen. Yes he’s made mistakes but Bill and DBB, our Chairman and our CEO, are the ones who have screwed this up……..

He clearly needs help with money so I’m guessing they said, Look we will come in and give you 25% but you need to sort out the club. The fans clearly hate the board and the board are clearly not up for the job. If you want our money you need to sort this.

It’s an easy cop out for Thelwell or his proponents to just say “his hands are tied.” Any DOF with an ounce of integrity would walk if they have no say in transfers, that’s his main job.

He has overseen two windows which seen us lose three attackers, ( Richarlison, loan Alli and release Rondon ) and he felt it sufficient to bring in Maupay to cover all of this, for a side that needed goals even if we had kept Richarlison.

What’s even more damning was he done nothing at all about it in January. That for me was borderline gross negligence. He absolutely has to go, but this is Everton so he will be rewarded with a new deal.

Kenwright has nothing to keep hold off, he sold his shares to Moshiri, but Farhad might want to still play Championship Manager with us in the hope he can make in the future

Kenwright still holds 1,750 shares and is the largest individual shareholder apart from Moshiri. He is still chairman until Moshiri sacks him and I don't see that happening .

The problems with Everton is still who buys the players. Can’t remember who said it but they said to buy a player requires 3 yeses from the ppl at the top of the club

They'll come in and gradually take control, slowly get their people in place , by the time the new stadium is up and running Moshiri will part ways and MSP will have majority control.

I think this is really positive, praying we stay up as we will really be able to celebrate positive change once these guys come in.

There's a difference between what's genuinely the unknown and what's blatant lies in a desperate attemot to cling on to power and remain relevant.

I don't think our DoFs have been the problem, other than that disastrous Walsh window. The remit from above has been 'win now', which led to us buying players at their personal top of the market, attracting them with fat wage packets, being unable to sell said players because no one who would want them would match the wages, and losing them on free transfers.

The only meaningful money we got for any of the buys since Summer '17 was for Digne, Vlasic and Richarlison, where we turned modest profits. Kean was a wash financially who barely played, and we had to sell the one player of any consequence the academy produced in that time frame. A Premier League club simply cannot be run like that unless it is top 10 in world revenue, and even then it ends up like United did after a decade of mismanagement.

United got rid of their problems, and are back to Champions League football and lifting pots. Should we get rid of ours, we can get back to midtable and cup runs, and work on building more from there in the new house.

See this is why MSP with a small investment won't help us, Moshiri will still be running the show
