They'll come in and gradually take control, slowly get their people in place , by the time the new stadium is up and running Moshiri will part ways and MSP will have majority control.

I think this is really positive, praying we stay up as we will really be able to celebrate positive change once these guys come in.
This is what I want to happen, 12 month hand over process

Is the correct answer, if you employ someone and they fail that is on you, especially if you refuse to remove them.

This is my worry on this MSP deal, Moshiri will still be the boss, making the major calls, seven awful years of his ownership and decision making, MSP with 25% wont put a stop to that.
As we speak they may only be investing in the bricks and mortar so other than getting the stadium finished, zero impact. Moshiri will be holding on for hell of a long time if he wants to get his money back.

He may have been contractually obliged as part of his original take-over, and/or only been partially interested since, perhaps even only acting as USMs representative for all we know. All that was part of Kenwright's due diligence. However, our failings and decline as a club also long predate Moshiri's involvement. I'm not arguing that he has done a good job at all.... he obviously wanted little or no involvement having only attended a handful of games, but no-one can argue that he(or his backer) hasn't provided funds.
They can't Tom you are correct. But we have regressed even further having blown a fortune so that is completely unacceptable. Can you imagine getting away with that in a normal company?

Not just a normal company but most other Premier League clubs. No.chance the fans of clubs like Liverpool, United, Newcastle and West Ham for example give an owner a pass if he did to them what Moshiri has done to us.

Possibly nothing, but if you look at their previous involvement in American sports they seem to favour the 'getting the best people in and letting them do their job approach' something we should have done years ago.
I'll be waiting by the phone.

With Thelwell though, looks like hes just installing people and processes. Effectively building the foundations and a structure.

I suspect we wont know if its worthwhile and working for a few seasons.

Why are MSP positive?

It’s an easy cop out for Thelwell or his proponents to just say “his hands are tied.” Any DOF with an ounce of integrity would walk if they have no say in transfers, that’s his main job.

He has overseen two windows which seen us lose three attackers, ( Richarlison, loan Alli and release Rondon ) and he felt it sufficient to bring in Maupay to cover all of this, for a side that needed goals even if we had kept Richarlison.

What’s even more damning was he done nothing at all about it in January. That for me was borderline gross negligence. He absolutely has to go, but this is Everton so he will be rewarded with a new deal.
He had to get players out the door in order to help finances, or am I missing the point?
Actually Maupay was a bad signing thinking about it..😮

I'm glad someone else has made this point, I've thought the same for a long time.

I made the same point here previously also, It may have made some difference, even if it only caused some temporary embarrassment, for the DOF, or someone in a similar position to say they were resigning because they were not allowed to do their job. That is strong ammunition against the board.

Of course, there are confidentiality clauses and seven-figure salaries here, but you'd hope someone would have some integrity.

I don't think it would harm their chances of getting a job elsewhere either,

We are not talking about people who couldn't afford to pay their gas bill or feed their family if they resigned here.
