Yeah was only joking m8, Just feels like it's taking forever to actually hear any proper real news about the situation.

Than again an hour feels like a lifetime when it comes to good news with us at the moment !!!

Just pray 🙏 that if this does actually go through it brings some proper sense and a good starting block to this club.....

what i miss?

We need what City and Newcastle currently have (or someone very wealthy with wealthy friends who can sponser us out of FFP problems).

Anything else is just more of the same.

MSP own stakes in numerous other football clubs and none of them are successful or spend money. I.e the Kenwright years all over again.

At least under Moshiri / Usmanov we could dream for a short while - this lot just want to sit on an asset for a decade of midtable before selling up for a profit.

Hope this exclusivity deal ends and they can go purchase a stake in a Swansea or whomever.
I don’t think you present a fair picture of MSP, while I understand your scepticism concerning American consortiums, MSP do seem to be cut from a (slightly) different cloth.
However it is fairly obvious that Moshiri is under pressure on many fronts due both the cost of the stadium and the fact that he has now become ‘a person of interest’ meaning he probably has to step back for the good of the club.
And there are no nation states , or multi billionaires currently queuing up to purchase Everton.
Besides I think we’ve proved that it isn’t just money that makes a successful club, ( there are limits on what you can spend anyway), it’s being administered and set up to use the money you do have that’s far more important.

It is a multi step process. We have to hope MSP can help put in place the write structure to make us semi competitive and make us attractive to next level investment

then we should keep our powder dry until those buyers appear.

You have many wealthy bidders looking at Utd for example - if Ratcliffe or the Qatari Royal miss out then we need to be selling a pitch to get them in the door.

Selling to MSP means another 5-10 years of the last 28 years of plodding along not troubling the elite.

In an ideal world for Moshiri they bridge the gap on the stadium funding but if needs be I suspect the funding will be found even if it meant turning a blind eye to some more dodgy cash being funnelled across the channel.

When BMD is being picked for the euro bid this corrupt govt will pick and choose when it wants to crack down on unsavoury businessmen/financiers just look at the Newcastle takeover.

so hang on, you're crying out for some corrupt nation state to buy the club
but also complaining about the corrupt UK government.

You want kenwright and the board out but are happy for them to stay another 5-10 years.

You're all over the place.

Moshiri doesn't have a clue on what to do now that is obvious. That is why he is trying to bring someone in to bring back some order to things within this football club and get people in place to run it a lot better than he and others have managed to do. I don't know anything about MSP so I won't be making any judgements about them. I would also like to add is even if a nation state came in to buy us unless they can bring money into the club what use are they it wouldn't matter if you were worth £500 billion if you have no connections, it's not like the Chelsea 2004 days anymore, as long as MSP has people who can sponsor us and bring millions into the club that is all that should matter not how much they are worth it doesn't matter anymore.

Current strongest starting line up:

Pickford
Patterson-Keane-Tarkowski-Myko
Iwobi-Gueye-Garner-McNeil
Doucouré
Calvert-Lewin

  1. Only left back in the squad is awful
  2. Centre half ended last season as 4th choice
  3. Only one half decent winger in the squad (McNeil)
  4. Only one decent striker in the squad and he's been injured for over a year and nobody knows if he'll ever be able to put in an extended run in the side
  5. No even half proven backup goalkeeper
And no doubt no money. Looks like Onana has to go and hopefully whatever money we get from him, Maupay, Holgate hopefully and Gray.. well let's just hope it doesn't disappear into thin air as we're currently significantly weaker than the squad that almost got relegated.

Fella doesn’t have a clue about the intentions of MSP but is absolutely terrified of the prospect of them running us better than Moshiri has done and him getting laughed off this forum for good.

It has gone strangely quiet after it was supposedly all ready for the Monday after the final match. Seems either MSP got cold feet, or Moshiri or someone is maybe trying to change the terms. If people were getting some accurate information before anything was done, it would be especially strange for that to suddenly dry up unless there were issues, or some renegotiation putting it in danger.

It hasn't gone quiet, the athletic article last week said nothing would be completed for 4-5 weeks

Andy Bell has invested £40 mill of MSPs £100 mill already, that money is with the club right now.
