I don't think it would add huge amounts to deals etc. but the brand link may bring people to the table sooner. I expect Spurs to benefit in part too.
I’d love to see Euros games there just for the cachet, to be honest.

Seeing Goodison in Creed and then Bellew’s fight there has made me want more non-football stuff at our ground.

I want to see something insane like Monster Trucks at BMD one day. Or maybe some Evel Knievel-style bus jumping on a motorbike?

Something with flame throwers, anyway.

We’re only going one way both financially and from a football perspective under Moshiri. We need the club looking healthy off the pitch before we even look it on the pitch that’s why MSP are investing, they have the business accumen to do just that
This 100%. I have noticed over the last couple of months that some of our fans really do not seem to understand quite how much trouble we are in finance wise. Having "Arab sportswashers" would make zero difference to a club in our situation due to our excessive wage bill, it would still take a couple of windows before we could spend our way out of any situation. Then even regardless of that you still need the right coach/manager in charge and we are not great at picking those. Look at Newcastle, they are primed to go into the CL next season, have a big new moneybags sponsor but numerous reports are suggesting they have no more that £100m to spend this summer due to FFP restrictions. It is frustrating for all concerned but we need a couple of seasons of being sensible and the glory hunters who think we should pushing top 10 will have to like it and lump it.

5 years to get back to 6-8th would be my take mate and then we need to be getting almost everything right in between.

Next season - we are in a league of the bottom 11, that's our league forget about everything else.

Dyche as manager keeps us midtable and this season just gone we'll have posted a profit on the books for the first time in a number of years so things are starting to move in the right direction albeit its a slow process and BMD close to completion will help long term.

If anything Moshiri has single handely kept us afloat these past few years covering our losses - do you truly believe your US saviors would be pumping hundreds of millions in just to cover losses?!

You do realise the alternative is to continue under the chaos of Moshiri’s stewardship, right? And we’re only headed one-way.

It’s imperative that responsible adults take control as soon as possible.

We need grey men in suits pushing pens.

Reset, regroup and stabilise.

If we hang around and wait for mega investment, we go down and possibly into administration.

This is existential. It’s no time for seeking perfection.

Too many happy clappers in the fanbase content with 14th and a limited budget so long as "We're not in a relegation battle" mate.

Thats the ambition of AFC Bournemouth not the mighty blues. And a lot of these same happy clappers have the cheek to then bemoan the club/board/chairman over lacking ambition.

Question these guys are involved in other clubs could it potentially mean we have link ups with other clubs if they take over eventually? We should have had some more solid relationships with other teams years ago. Look at how Brighton loan their players out to a club and they gain experience for their first team

That’s the sad thing….in competitive terms, our wage bill really isn’t that excessive. It’s excessive because our revenue performance is so poor and it’s excessive in respect of the quality of playing personnel we have, but we are 9th in salary expenditure according to Spotrac. We have simply made poor choices, and as you and the previous poster said, we need to get the club right behind the scenes.

This is an excellent point mate that often gets missed about our wage bill.

Its the value and the contribution of wages paid as opposed to what we spend, take Mina, Gomes and Dele - we got 8 games all season from the three of them for weekly wages of £120k (6.2mill a year), £111.k (5.8mill) and a reported 100k a week.

8 games over a season for 300k + a week.

If we bring amortization into picture its even more depressing.

Other clubs spend 300k + on three players and they are absolute stars week in week out playing in 100+ games, driving them up the table - we get 8 games a year.

I think you need to take a look at what’s happening to the club right now.

Your argument made sense for much of the last 20 years, but I’m afraid times change and therefore so do priorities.

Make no mistake: we are trending downwards entirely because of the way the club is run.

You need to park your ambitions for Champions League or higher, because we won’t be around if we don’t focus on the Moshiri-shaped elephant in the room.

This type of ownership if they were to come in and take care of the stadium so we did not have to take out a loan and clear down the debts would make a big difference in our financial outlook. Granted there is no quick fix re FFP and our ability to bring in players
