I see Wrexham have just landed United Airlines as front of shirt sponsors, massive coup.

Indicative of motivated and accountable owners and empowered commercial team. Meanwhile Bill and his Technicolor dreamcoat…

Probably paying them absolute beans for some brilliant media exposure for a celebrity team that’s a news story whether it wins or loses.

Try asking them for 20 mill a year to sponsor the media’s least favourite team that exists between mid table mediocrity and relegation battles and the mere association with us will turn away a massive global hoarde of Kopite customers frothing at the mouth to show how scouse they are by never flying United airlines again because ‘dey sponsor der blue shyght’

for ….it’s surely not all about levels of investment. I’d welcome them introducing a better operating model, bringing business acumen to the Boardroom & making the club stable.

Not sure what the ‘next level’ is, but I’m happier if we are a well run ship off the pitch with a decent Manager on it.
If it involves not having palpitations for the last ten games of the season because we're terrified of being relegated, I'll take it for a season or two, whilst the off field financial disaster that is Everton is sorted out.

That's my concern too mate. MSP have similar investments in a number of other European teams, and so have a stable.

However there's no disputing that the Prem League is different gravy in terms of investment / potential returns. If they stick with their European model, you have to question whether they can take us to the next level - without further investment from someone else (and a further dilution).

Wonder what Moshiri's 5 year plan looks like?

Seriously. I don't want "the next level", I want us to not be in the bottom 5. How the hell is that a big ask?

Will probably find out they were just looking at possible 'Naming Rights' now we're in the list for the Euro's

I wouldn't assume this either mate- make no mistake about this investment is a fund - a funds responsibility is to ensure a return for their investors, they will cut the knees out from under the club if it ensures a return that's their priority. The best hope is that welfare of the club and investor returns coincide. But operationally they will be looking out for their own interests on the board.
Exactly this... everyone is really excited about this deal just because it gets rid of board members but it is a sad state of affairs when you have lenders taking control of your business.

Some things about this "deal" just doesn`t stack up, that is why we need a full takeover and wipe the floor with all of them...

A full takeover versus partial buy out via a new share issue.

I maybe wrong but to me a full takeover by MSP, for example, gives Moshiri and Moshiri plus the minor shareholders only all the money.

But a partial takeover via a new share issue, so diluting current shareholders % holding, gives the club all the money to spend.

From the clubs point of view the partial takeover via a new share issue is THE WAY to do this.
