It's a sign

Looking at the people involved in MSP and Blythe, it doesn’t look like they have the capital to really take the club to a higher level.
That's my concern too mate. MSP have similar investments in a number of other European teams, and so have a stable.

However there's no disputing that the Prem League is different gravy in terms of investment / potential returns. If they stick with their European model, you have to question whether they can take us to the next level - without further investment from someone else (and a further dilution).

Wonder what Moshiri's 5 year plan looks like?

I am in 2 minds with them...part of me agree with you but at the same time they wanted to take over spurs not that long ago which would have required a significant investment which makes me think that they have the resources. We'll find out very quickly, but the recent dyche comments on maybe having to sell before we can buy doesn't bring much optimism on this deal. Good for the completion of the stadium but we still need investment in the squad to ensure we don't get relegated.

Sell to buy makes sense maybe not what we want to hear as fans but saves us being in the position of potentially bringing crap in while there’s still crap sat round at the club for another x amount of years if we was a bit more sensible maybe we wouldn’t find ourselves in this mess. This investment isn’t ideal we needed someone with plenty of money and to buy a bigger share while re appointing a board that know how to operate as a business basically the investment is to get the stadium over the line and allow moshiri a better position to be able to sell the club down the line not move the club forward.

If they buy in 25% they are also hoping someone comes in for the controlling part at a later date and they hang onto the coattails of that investment.
I think they have Mosh over a barrel as he needs cash so this is just a small investment to them with a wait and see approach

….it’s surely not all about levels of investment. I’d welcome them introducing a better operating model, bringing business acumen to the Boardroom & making the club stable.

Not sure what the ‘next level’ is, but I’m happier if we are a well run ship off the pitch with a decent Manager on it.

I wouldn't assume this either mate- make no mistake about this investment is a fund - a funds responsibility is to ensure a return for their investors, they will cut the knees out from under the club if it ensures a return that's their priority. The best hope is that welfare of the club and investor returns coincide. But operationally they will be looking out for their own interests on the board.
