It's a correct opinion. I think the potential that makes him interesting. Coming from nowhere with that ice cold attitude coping with Messi, Bale and Belgians showed that he can be a very good DM. Question is can he be more than that? Time will tell but for me it's very promising that after just 3 full PL and one capital cup matches he is capable of a PL worthy performance. To be one the best requires fantastic talent and hard work. He's determined, said to his father around his 15th birthday that one day he'll be the best player in the world. So he'll never give up working for that that's for sure. But is that talent in him? Not to mention that it's way more harder to be one of the bests in football as a defender type of player than any attacking roles. I admire these footballers much more if they show something outstanding at the pitch for this simple reason.

I think he already has the ability to be part of a rotation with McCarthy and Barry. Barry needs a break every now and then yet he seems to play every game.
