Can't remember him misplacing any passes? he was up and down though through the game and never seemed at ease.

He's a confident kid though and isn't shy about recieving the ball under pressure. He just needs to work on positional discipline, although maybe Barry should have talked him through today better in that regard.
Honestly I somehow got the feeling that Barry doesn't really like him. Saw it at another match too, that he's giving always the angry look towards him and what we saw today they don't work well together.

He makes too many mistakes which will cost us dearly. He must learn to make the right decision.
Agree mate he was poor and has been most times I've seen him play. The class difference between him and McCarthy is horrendous and I think his only potential place in the side is at centre back as his questionable decision making won't be as obvious as it is in midfield.

clueless sorry to say

He misplaced several where he just hammered a pass into the legs of his marker.

I agree he was mostly accurate but they were simple five-yarders. Whenever he tried anything expansive it fell apart.

At least that's what I saw.
Bang on which is why I think centre back is his only potential position otherwise get shot.

some of you must have been watching a different game to me. Out of him and Barry i thought he was by far the better player. Played some lovely crossfield balls straight to the feet of who they were intended for. Didn't think he was dodgy positionally either. Is Besic the new whipping boy when Osman isn't playing?

He's slow, panics easily and clearly has a rash challenge in him. Not a premier league standard midfielder let alone an Everton one.

you must be on a wind up mate? Barry was the one slowing down possession this afternoon. Didn't see him panic if i'm honest. His tackling does need a little work but he has only started a handful of games. FFS people are so quick to judge.

Panics easily? Slow? Gush, You must really hate him. Or watched someone else today, not him. If You said he makes mistakes I'd agree. If You said he takes every challenge, tries everything to go forward without hesitation and this sometimes results in mistakes I'd agree. No one will praise him for those 2 stupid things today, in fact I presume RM and the team will discuss those with him among all the other mistakes from everyone else. But don't be afraid he surely won't play at Wednesday, physically he could cope with it now but I'm sure these faults of his play were because of mental tiredness, he needs to adapt to that step-by-step.
