At least Moyes had the decency to make up for his mistake by spending over the odds for a Peter Crouch of midfield to bail his guilt out? Lol.
Prepare your hat, hes a superb footballer, he hasnt shown even a glimpse of what he can do yet, his range of passing is amazing, he clearly needs to work on his shooting, but his tackling, tracking and tenacity cant be faulted, now and again he dives in a little, but hes a young lad trying to make an impression.
If and when hes given a run in the side, in a balanced formation, he will shine.
Not quite sure what I watched today, couldnt tell you who played where apart from the back 5, it was an utter mess, slightly off topic I know, but my god that was rank today.

Lets agree to disagree. What your basing 'Superb' on, I haven't seen. No doubt the boy can switch the ball but he lacks strength and presence in a position that requires an abundance of both. He is consistently turning the ball back and takes way too many unnecessary touches. Compare him to other young players in that role, let alone the very best. I question how long we had been tracking Besic before we made the decision to buy him. Lets not discuss his shooting, as i've seen schooboys hit a ball better.
This season has been beyond woeful. I put a lot of it down to not having midfielders capable of passing the ball forward, quickly and decisively.
Again today, we created zero chances for Lukaku.

What surprise me is how easy he could pass and leave a very fast Lamela. He can take ball from deep , he can tackle , hes faster then Barry , but then again slow motion is faster then Barry.Think he could be great holding DM so we can stop two DM nonsense .But watching Barry playing 2700 games this season I can see that Martinez think hes in hes prime.

Finally I managed to watch the game, didn't want to say anything before that.
He was very decent, it was good to see that after so much benching he could come to the game and played well. It shows for me that he's fully adapted by now.
He also looks much stronger physically and faster mentally in thinking than a year ago. Some signs were about this at the Austria match but its the EPL where You can really judge this regarding to the tempo.
And I think that in this year for an Everton player decent is a compliment. For me Stones was outstandig, Jagielka, Lennon and McCarthy very good, Lukaku,Baines, Coleman and Besic decent. And that's all. Maybe Naismith can get credits for his fighting.

Surely Besic will replace Barry next season.. Besic and McCarthey " Drifts back to the days of Reid n Bracewell"

Difficult to prove anything if you're not on the pitch. The lad definitely has something. His long range passing in particular is exceptional. Another massive RM error not giving him a lot more game time.
