He did wince but I highly doubt it's because of pain / injury.

No way he'd be on a team training trip if he still couldn't kick a ball without pain, he'd still be resting / in physio if that was the case.

Yep, I was just thinking the same thing, 60 mins game time would do him good, playing alongside Walsh would be an interestingly combative formation.
