It is true, he got a number of games in his first season and after a while was dropped by RM, since then he has been injured or just not in the team.
I think he is a player that could very well be loaned out this season.

1 week is a period. 1 month can be a period. I judge a player as a starter if he consistently started throughout a season at least. E.g Barry and McCarthy were starters under the football fraud. Besic played about 30 games in 3 seasons, he is a bit player as of today.
