Murders in Liverpool.

It‘s a strange one isn’t it. The suppliers and the scrotes who end up feuding actually cause the trouble and misery. However without customers there would be no suppliers. But having said that, we have legal drugs, alcohol and over the counter drugs that are strictly controlled by the state. Pub landlords or Chemists don’t go around shooting people in the norm. So legalise it, but control it in the same way and that may work for the majority. Push the control back down the line to the manufacturers and eliminate all of the ‘bad guys’ and gangs. But then there will be some drugs invented, inevitably, that will pose an existential threat to the lives of the user and others, which the state will ban and they will go back underground and to the gangs. I don’t have the answer, but I know with a certainty that without customers, drug gangs, their feuds and drug related murders would not happen……
There is a strange dichotomy. The West has taken all the 'legal' resources from many lands, Afghanistan, Columbia, Pakistan, so many African countries, way back over the centuries, leaving their economies needing a black market to survive.
The West now imports these illegal goods, made 'illegal' by governments who create their necessity, for people to escape their very own 'Western existence'.
Opium production doubled after western forces invaded Afghanistan.
The demand is there. Because trickle down doesn't work.
These deaths can, and should be linked to actual government policies in the West.
Where do you start? Let's 'eliminate the bad guys' as you say, let's take out all the venture capitalists, merchant bankers, politicians, because that's where the money washes around, the money that causes violence and the death of a 9 year old girl.

Opium usage dates back to thousands of years BC. Those poor Sumerian and Mesopotamian civilisations must have endured a terrible western existance. I can only imagine the awfulness of the consumerism and greedy corporations at the time. It all started going wrong when they allowed their citizens to buy their council mud huts.

Wow. Thank you so much for the enlightenment, really made it worth getting up today ;)

Good too see there has been a few arrests in this, with the passing of the queen it fell out of the headlines, let's hope they have all the people involved.
It would also be good if all the information the police have received over the last month leads to arrests for other crimes too

….man charged with the murder of young Olivia.

it’s the name that’s been circulated in recent weeks on social media, the Police have surely known for a while but now the CPS say there’s enough evidence to prosecute.
Apparently works for lfc too, doing the rounds. Not even kidding.

Wife and some of her mates went primary with him.

As I said very early on, the name would be (was) known by the police, but it's not as simple as going and arresting him as the public would want it to be.

Surveillance needs to be put in place, evidence obtained, and pressure put on to force people to make mistakes. No point in giving their defence evidence early.

Yes, very similar to the Rhys case. They had the killers name in minutes but just had to wait until all the evidence was collected.
