Transfer Rumour Naismith Bid Rejected

I'm sure if someone else was lined up then he'd be gone. There's 45 mins to go! Not enough time

Or is there? We'll see

I like Naismith, but for eight million I would have driven him to Norwich myself. I now know we are not a selling club but £8 mill. If he is playing hardball and gets another million he will have pulled off a master stroke.

Not to mention he's a guy whos on the bench and gets 10 minutes a game mostly out of position and within 2 years we'll be selling him for peanuts when we could of actually got proper money for him.

Everyone will look back to this day in 12-24 months when he's sold for 2m and wonder what the [Poor language removed] we were thinking.

Imagine when he next takes to the field spraying balls to the opposition and getting their moves going for them, and then having to think about the £8M rejected for him.

Comfortably one of the technically worst Everton players in living memory.

It's like the Johnson for £11m, McFadden for £6m, Bent for £3m scenario can't believe my eyes...

Then we reject it!! Still stunned.

All this means is everyone at the club has been sitting on their arse and no proper scouting has been done, the only reason they turned down £8m is because they've got nobody at all lined up to replace him.

Piss poor way to run a football club, every player should have a value and if it's over the value then he should be sold, 8m is over the value any sane person has for Naismith, He's a 4-5m Norwich type of player.

We got him for free, he was a good guy gave 100% but he's a bit part player and we'd get 8m for him and he'd be a starter in his best position at Norwich so everyone wins but somehow we messed it up and rejected it wtf i'm actually seething at this stupidity.

Why would they have been scouting for replacements for Naismith if they didn't have any intentions of selling him?

I like the lad gives us 100% every game but for that money I would have sold him,
Well thats if the money went to the manager that is ,even if it means we are short till jan.
As lack of investment in the squad means mid table it is with or without him in the squad

You never seen Bernie the Bolt Wright then!
Or Rod Belfitt!
Just thought of another poor player Ian Wilson signed by Harvey!
