Naismith? Thoughts?

Do OPTA have the stats for how many times Brennan bores us to death by doing his worst damon impression and bringing up some rubbish from the vaults where someone was wrong but only he cares?

Am I the only one that thought Beckford was decent? Once you look past the neck tattoo and rapist stare, he scored 10 goals in his first Premier League season, after coming from League 1.

I didnt mind him Jock, won me a few bob on occasions, its just, when the ball falls to Jelavic in the box.. you know he isnt going to miss..
If it fell to Beckford, you 'hoped' he would score.. Again, just my opinion mate..

I liked Beckford, but you've summed him up to perfection there.

Let's put Jelavic at right mid and see how he does...

...and then see Evertonians light into him.

Although Naismith traditionally started his career as a striker, he has recently been effectively used as a midfielder. Naismith has been used on both right and left flanks for Rangers but also as a central midfielder with his versatility a key attribute.

In the 2005–06 season he played in the striker position, and also played on the left of midfield.

You won't find anything about Jelavic playing anywhere but as a last man striker.

While I think he'd be better behind the striker or up front he's not good enough to replace Jelavic and his touch and his passing are both poor. It's not like he's a left back playing in goal - there should be enough experience there to at least stay out wide rather than come inside constantly and offer us no width at all.

Meh, there's still time. I think he'll be decent in the end, actually.
