£18mil + £16mil = £34mil after all clauses are hit will be more like £25mil before those clauses may be triggered.

£25mil if both are on 4.5 year deals means we'll be spending about £5.5mil in terms of FFP budgets.

£5.5mil + their waged is probably what we make on a loan fee for Digne along with James' saved wages.

I dunno why people find stuff like that so hard to follow.

I am a Rangers fan born and bread who Everton is my 2nd team. Followed them since Walter Smith took over and never stopped after he left. Trust me Everton are getting a fantastic RB in the making. He hasn't featured much for Rangers this season but the fans have been calling for him to play. He is very pacey, a good defender and reads the game really well. IF this goes through this is a fantastic move for Nathan and for Everton. If Everton waited until next year to buy him it would be at least double.

Actual Rangers fans who watch their team’s games rate him and are sad to see him go. Take the sectarian blinds off and see the big picture, that we are looking long term at last for replacing Coleman. £10m is a steal for a 20 year old with his best years ahead of him

Bernard was on big money and I'm pretty sure he who must not be named is not picking up anywhere near his full pay.

I think Bernards wages may have been used on the others we signed.

I reckon we had something for Patterson last summer but it wasnt enough.

Then with James going and the extra 1/2 season of FFP/Profit sustainability may have been a bit lower across the board.

I think we will still need Digne out.

Then i wouldnt be surprised to see other players moved on to enable us to bring in the Defensive midfielder / centre back needed...

If there's one thing I am massivley out of step with Benitez on it's this signing.

Mykolenko - ok. We can bring him in and let him play gradually as he is a regular first team starter where he comes from. But Mykolenko AND the sub Patterson? That is madness.

Patterson is a panic buy from a manager who definitley needs to take a step back and view the market a bit more intensely.

Don't be too worried, Benitez is well known to be tactically astute and a very good defensive coach.

Well this is an exciting signing NOT. Clearly not that good or would be ahead of tavernier maybe one for the future if we had a decent RB now but we need a player that’s going to make an impact now.
