Confirmed Signing Nathan Patterson

Low risk signings, both Patterson and Mykolenko, they’re young, quick and strong, either they adapt to the premier league, in which case we have our first choice full back pairing sorted for the foreseeable future, or, they don’t adapt, in which case, given their age and the fact that they won’t be on huge wages, it should be relatively easy to move them on with no significant loss.

I’ve never seen Mykolenko play, so, he is an unknown quantity for me. Patterson I have seen twice, he looks to have good potential. He is a big quick energetic full back, he’s not the finished article yet, but, I think even now, at 20;years of age, he’s probably the best right back on the books, if he signs.

Hi guys rangers fan from Glasgow here.

Patterson is a RB/RWB who is good going forward and an excellent defender. He’s very unfortunate that our captain and best player is a RB and not many people in rangers price range would get a game over. Patterson doesn’t get a lot of hame time and still walks into scotlands team as a RB pushing tierney to go and play left side of 3 in CB.

In 3/4 years team I have no doubts Patterson will make Everton a fair bit of money.

Every rangers fan is sad to see him go but with the market we’re in, losing a player for 12+m who doesn’t play is brilliant business for the club.

All the best for the season guys.

Edit: Kenny was on loan at Celtic last year and Patterson is 10x the player he is

Let's not write him off before a ball is kicked, and let's give him a chance and let him make his mistakes, which he undoubtedly will. Hopefully he is going to play quite a bit, so let's not crush the kid.

We are the maddest fanbase - they've either gotta be world beaters or they are shoite instantly, no middle ground at all.

We should have gave the likes of Kean more chances, both as a club and fans.

Don’t want to turn this into a Rangers invasion here but just wanted to join to wish Nathan all the best.

He is a fearless player. Regardless of whether he’s playing against Celtic, Peterhead or Lyon he’ll always play the same way and is never afraid of getting forward. Before he had to sit a suspension he was absolutely immense. Him and Aribo tore Celtic apart in a cup game (same game Kenny scored an own goal) and it more or less sent Diego Laxalt who was quite a decent coup for Celtic to get back to Milan.

Naturally as a youngster he can make a few mistakes when on the ball. He had a slow start to a few Scotland games but it never affected his confidence and got better as the game got along. I’d honestly say he’s better in a four rather than in a five man midfield.

Sad to see him go but to make the reported figures for a player that’s only played 27 games is a no brainier to let him go.

All the best for the rest of the season.

Ps I’m not the real Nathan Patterson couldn’t really think of a decent username.
