Actually mate this is not uncommon for someone so young. Adolescent athletes under 21 can be more susceptible to ligament and other knee injuries. They require much more careful rehabilitation before coming back. Patterson is now 21 , so likely still in a susceptible age . If it is a reoccurrence of similar problems he needs much more careful rehab and strengthening work.

My missus is a physiotherapist (albeit not a specialist in sports) but as she always tells me, reoccurring injuries tend not to be a good sign for footballers.

Fortunately it sounds like it wasn't Pattersons knee and it was a hamstring injury so a completely unrelated injury to his previous one's. Hopefully just a slight hamstring strain

Is he related to Dominic, I wonder?

Yeah the lad did did walk off the pitch, he wouldn't be moving like that if his knee had gone again..

Regardless he wasn’t/isn’t ready for premier league football.
You're just being very petty.. Patterson is gonna be a brilliant Rb for us going forward. He's just had some really bad luck at a crucial time, so your jumping on his back. If you want to blame someone blame Dyche for picking Holgate/Godfrey before him since he's been back...

Based on what evidence though? He's looking like an extremely injury prone average player to me.

Sorry I should of worded that better, in my opinion he will be a brilliant Rb going forward.

You think he looks very average that is completely your choice.
His injuries haven't been helping him, No!

but how much have we really seen him play after a good run in the team ?
