No, I didn't.

Go and take a look at examples like him deserting his position to allow Mount to score in our first home game, how he turned his back on Johnson against Forest at home and left him to coast in and score; how he did exactly the same thing far post against Leeds away.

He cost us at least 10 points. It's nearly killed us and it still may have done.

But the biggest concern is that no one in this fanbase could ever say he's a better choice at RB than a 35 year old VColeman on the downside of his career...he's still head and shoulders above Patterson. That is the truth of the matter.

Look, if he's a player it needs to come out next season...but we cant afford that to be here with us. He;s too costly.

Next season we need Coleman as a back up and we should go out and get Livremento off S'ton.

This is a prime example of what I’m talking about. Mount didn’t score and it was Doucoure that made a stupid challenge to gift them a pen. He hasn’t “cost us 10 points” at all, what a ridiculous thing to say. Your hatred of him is bordering on disturbing I must say.

It’s just bonkers isn’t it?

Invalidates any point he’s trying to make about Patterson with this drivel.

My only issue with Patts is he is injury prone. When he is fit and is playing I have no issues with him whatsoever. I would be quite happy with him as our full back

Ok, Mount drew the challenge for the pen. Douc oure was at RB where Patterson deserted his position to run out to challenge and break the defensive line that was holding up so well in that first half.

Itls for the birds to suggest Patterson has any defensive instincts. He has none.

….I think he’s a decent one but the number of injuries for one so young is a big concern. I don’t believe it’s simply down to bad luck.

I had a slight epiphany after a few rums recently.

Is it possible that the fact our injuries are concentrated at full back is down to something specific - training ground, pitch, methods?

It just seems more than bad luck that not only ALL our full backs are injured, but also anyone that can even fill in there.

Anyway, just a thought. Like I said, rum was involved...

As I said earlier: injuries could be down to positional stuff. He's starting off from poor positions and then being forced to use his athleticism to recover lost ground and jarring muscles and tendons in doing so.

I dont think he's made of glass. He's just not got a sense of where he should be and when to move to another position to anticipate being wrong footed. No sense of space.

He might learn that, but he cant be learning in an Everton first team shirt. The calls for him to be loaned out to the Championship are still spot on. Coleman is multiple times a better defender and attacker than him, and he was loaned out by Moyes to Blackpool when IMO it was a toss up whether he should have been kept in our first team back then.

The lad needs to build a bit of momentum. He was one of our best early season.

I like his mentality, he has a bit of fight about him.

He has more in his locker going forward, ive seen it, but he needs to access it at this level, his developing defensive game makes him hesitant, which is fair enough as a developing player.

Not sure hes injury prone, i think he and his body is adjusting to being an athlete athlete at this level, people forget he didn't play very many games for TRFC at all, certainly not back to back.

Early in the season he was blaming him for a goal that came from the opposite side of the pitch and never crossed the middle line of the pitch.

It’s blind hatred and it’s pathetic.

I’ve seen some hot takes on here but people stating that JJ Kenny is a better rb/rwb than Patterson has absolutely finished me! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Silly season has never really stopped here has it - absolute laughing stock statement.

Have you reasons for disliking a player, no matter how bigoted, I can understand that small mindedness, but don’t chat wham - you simply invalidate any point you’re trying to make.

Hope pato and his flute are back fit for Bournemouth.

Hating on a 21yr old lad, just because the club he came, from doesn`t fit with your bigoted set of ideals, is just creepy, weird and disturbing tbh.

Maybe the pace of the premier league has been a shock to his system due to being brought up in Scottish football and is taking time to adjust. Fingers crossed he's back and firing next season. I think he is a good little player for his age and certainly looking like a bargain price in the current market.
