22 is no age really. You can’t be writing players off at 22
Last season was stop start for him don’t think he will be much further along development wise than what he was at the start of last season if he’s going to be our starting RB needs to be better along with the other side with useless mykolenko.

We’ve not seen if he’s good enough was hit and miss with a lot of mistakes who says he’s going to cut them out?
Your man Coleman might = quality, but he’s made some absolute howlers, too.

Patterson is young, and young players make many more mistakes than older players. Especially in responsible positions like fullback.

He’s not my man but still the best RB at the club even with injuries and fading legs. Mate Coleman’s been done for at least 2 years now my names from about 12 years ago as a bit of a joke to similar names. Of course they make mistakes but as first choice and in a relegation struggling side they are even more costly add to that a useless left back and not really steadied CB pairing he’s even more exposed could get away with playing in a city side or similar easing his way in he was the wrong signing when we bought him as was mykolenko we needed both of them signings to be first team ready and neither of them was lad looks like he could be decent but to suggest he’s got massive potential when he can’t even stay fit is a bit of a stretch.

Given his injury record I think the one who defo isn't capable of 40+ games in a season is Patterson.

That said, I can see Dyche handing Patterson another go to try and prove himself. But he'll defo start Coleman in August.

I've seen enough of Garner to be comfortable with the RB berth for this next season at least. When Seamus retires though we must bring in once and for all a very handy RB.
I take it you dont rate him Dave - please do not hold back lol

So how does Pattersons last season compare to Coleman's first? As far as I remember Coleman was heavily slated his first year for his mistakes
