You dont focus on it. You keep it ticking over: the clue is in the word 'mastered'.

What clubs will work on thoroughly are weaknesses, relative or otherwise. That's what Everton are doing with him.
Just replying to your words which were you don't practice what you've already mastered which is nonsense as you appear to have accepted with your rewording above.

He literally says it's his main priority to defend. What on earth do you think he's prioritising in training, his goal keeping skills?

Lol.
Hang on Dave, I'm confused now. Didn't you say that goal keepers aren't real footballers? If that's the case, why would a proper footballer be practicing his goal keeping skills? Still looking for an excuse to slaughter this lad, so that you can be right on the internet perhaps?

He's prioritising learning his trade on the training ground, all aspects of it. It's what 20 year old footballers do, especially if they're a full back and Ashley Cole and Leighton Baines are on the coaching staff.

I've never ever done that. Slaughtering someone means you irrationally attack them and dont see any good in them. I've CONSISTENTLY posted on here that his defending is ropey but that he offers something going forward.

It does your argument's no good to set up a straw man.

The latest interview in the Echo underlines how much he's having to work on his defending because - as he rightly states - the step up from the ale house league he came from to this one is huge.
