My criticism of him was he looked timid in first few games and was happy not seeing the ball made a few mistakes but he’s young and is going to, thought defensively he was ok and in first few games didn’t look like doing anything going forward. My evaluation looking back I was pretty harsh on him he’s grown in confidence in the last couple of games and I think he will really push on this season added to that the stability of the team this season has probably helped him grow as he probably started the season thinking about how poor we was last season and his first few games obviously wanted to play it really safe and not draw any errors to himself that the manager would highlight. So all in all looks to be a good signing as long as this progression continues. Sometimes you just have to say you got it wrong ? the frustration Everton bring it’s easy to.

He doesn't say that. He says it's been a massive step up and he's having to address his body shape and anticipation of danger.

That underlines the credibility of my criticism.
This is pathetic, even from you. A 20 year old saying there are things he sees that he needs to work on and improve on and being honest about that is the #1 proof hes going to be good, as anyone rational knows.

Because its the ones that think they are the world, have a huge ego, wont listen and dont try to improve that never kick on.

I wouldnt bother, if he said "Its easy down here, I dont even need to try", he would have gone for him no matter what he said.

The minute you think you know it all and there’s nothing else to learn you might as well call it a day the moment that mind set sets in.

Sorry but yes you do that's what makes people in their line of work be it sport or anything else exceptional.
You dont focus on it. You keep it ticking over: the clue is in the word 'mastered'.

What clubs will work on thoroughly are weaknesses, relative or otherwise. That's what Everton are doing with him.
