G

Jesus wept. Give it a rest and have a day off. We won and he was part of a defence that kept a clean sheet.
The weak link.

I'm mere;ly stating that as son as the skipper is fit he's back in the team because that lad has proven none of his doubters wrong.

Missed the game but listened on radio and 5Live commentators seem to be impressed with him and aside from once that I can remember when Paqueta knocked it over his head, pretty much every time they mentioned him was something positive.

He looked ropey during the first half and like you say Paqueta flicked it over him and he looked daft.

The level of Paqueta (someone ive posted about for years) and the skills he has was going to make it difficult for anyone.

By the end of the half he looked 'average'...second half went up gradually through the gears and overall id lean on it being 6/10.

I think he was short on confidence coming into this as will be suffering seeing Young start...so with a run i think we'll be seeing a great back 4.

He tried to get too tight and got schooled, it happens against good players. All part of the experience of learning to play against good players in a top league.
That starting 11 is decent and should be the starting 11 if everyone is fit and available, until new signings are made.

Have a day off, banging on about him supposedly being terrible and how because of him we could have been out of it. Kept a clean sheet, grew into the game and by the looks of most reports I’ve seen, did fairly well.

He got a better rating as a RB today than Young has had in any game all season. (7.2).

Did ok should stay in the team ahead of young. But still think our full backs are a weak link offer nothing in transition/ going forward.
We are where we are really.

As long as they defend well it’s a solid base to avoid the constant stream of counter attack goals conceded. Frees up Onana a bit and the wide players.

Pretty sure if we win the next 2 home games there will be calls to bin Dyche off due to “style of football”. Forgetting we were recently in the bottom 3.
