My favourite part of his performance last night was that he seemed to have grown a pair. He's gone from goading opponents after a win then cacking himself (see pic)

to actually standing up to them and not showing himself up in front of tens of thousands of people in the stadium, and millions on global television (see pic)

Doesn't look like he cracked himself at all and certainly didn't show himself up to anyone.

I’m struggling to see how this photo proves your point?

This is taken before yes? The two players are in motion walking. Patterson has been grabbed from behind by the neck & is currently turning.

As he’s turning the other hand goes to his throat & we get the next picture where Patterson’s expression looks like surprise and anger.

Probably because most fight situations don’t start by being grabbed by the neck from behind…

The absolute state of this thread.

If I was one of those weird fans of other clubs that explores the Internet, I'd definitely bookmark this.

Some outstanding doubling down from the Patterson haters, lord knows how they'll cope when it becomes obvious that he's the starting right back.

I love, LOVE Seamus, but experience and positional sense doesn't make up for physical frailty. Injuries or not for Coleman, Patterson starts the majority of games from here on in.

It's pointless, if he'd chinned the lad then it'd be "Patterson has anger management issues" anyway lol

Doing alright the lad, always feel he needs a run to bulid momentum, delighted he’s getting a run of games, that’s been my main concern.

Im really curious to see how he develops under Dyche, the one thing Dyche doesn’t get credit for is how he develops and improves players, a particular specialism is defenders.

The lads done fine with his opportunity and I’m happy for him, be interesting to see what happens with selection from here. But that’s only good for us if there is competition.

I want this lad playing week in, week out between now and May.
