Patterson was ahead of the scorer when the ball was knocked across to the far post. He got left for dead.

No sense of danger whatsoever.

This is true. Now and again the ball ricocheting to a forward is just bad luck not bad positioning. But he does STOP to watch Pickford make saves etc. There is only one place to be when a shot is flying to our goal and that’s the goal line. Sprint there!!!!! You see Tarks and JB behind Pickford quite often, and Myko. This lad sadly does switch off for 0.5 seconds just when he should be accelerating towards danger.

Look how slow he is to react to an obvious danger that any defender should be alert to.

Hopefully Coleman gets his fitness and does;t hobble off in this game. We need him back desperately.

The nay sayers out in force- against Patterson no post when he was MOTM - the back five were all poor not seen a disorganised mess like it - nice to see Coleman, but a awful team selection by Dyche - I cannot pick a MOTM -yet the naysayers were the goals mainly came from the left hand side blame Patterson

BBC Sport Scotland poll has him as our MOTM so that's nice for him.
