2023/24 Nathan Patterson

This made me laugh. You need to check your eyesight pal. Patterson was clearly a yard BEHIND Kalajdzic when he made contact with the ball. So how did turning his back give him an easy header?

Unless he has teleportation abilities he was never getting to the player to put him off. Patterson was positioned correctly for his man. The time between him ‘anticipating the danger’ (i.e. it was apparent the cross wasn’t reaching his man but Tark’s man) and the ball being in the back of the net was about 1-2 seconds. To expect him to have reached Tarks mark and put him off his header in 2 seconds is laughable 😂
No he wasn't.

YES, he was. Again since you’re blind I’ve circled Patterson here as the strike me is making contact with the ball. The ball came in from the right of the image. Patterson is clearly a yard away and the wrong side of intercepting the ball.

To be honest I'll just be happy for him to stay injury free enough to get up to speed and learn his trade. He's still a very young man.
There were worse players in the team today and the experienced players are supposed to do well enough that young inexperienced lads don't take the brunt of a crap performance.

Hes just not very good. Not good enough in attack to compensate for his defensive weaknesses

I had quite high hopes for the lad but I dont think he has improved at all since he signed.

I’m sorry but anyone that has played football would know that should have been the centre halves player to deal with. Patterson had another player behind him so if the ball had gone deeper that’s his man. Where the hell was golden boy Branthwaite?! Miles away in no man’s land. You cannot blame Patterson for that

Also watched branthwaite getting caught complete wrong side of Silva and getting away with it due to offside (which he def wasn't playing for)
And no mention of the great ball whipped in for Danjuma.
Made up negatives, overlook the positives... rinse and repeat
