Some nice pictures from the Terps-Tar Heels football game Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip attended in 1957. Supposedly, she was very interested in the differences between American football and rugby. In these parts, quite a few people have stories of meeting the Queen during that first visit to the US. They visited a Giant supermarket after the game as well:
