Dom had one quality season and even during that season had a barren spell. Having another forward who can chip in with 8-10 goals, play off a target man and play wide forward too is a no brainer.

While he’s not as good as a fit DCL, there were definitely games over the last couple of seasons where Dom just didn’t click and we had no one to freshen things up.

Is he the oh no, DCL got injured 5mins before the season starts signing? Or the long term plan at the end of the window? I still hope a main target forward, will come in. But you can see what is available, especially for what we can afford.
