Bet this is all a smokescreen to hide a bid for Grant Holt, much more in keeping with Moyes tactics and budget since a bag of marbles and some shiny paper would swing it .
 
Is it only me who think hes not worth nearly 10 million?

He's 27, his strike rate isn't steller, and compared to say Michu etc the price and his age doesn't add up

No just that Balgue is ITK in Spain and I highly doubt he's far off by their asking price. However an asking price is an asking price - they'd probably accept about 15m euro.

Which we aint got!
 
we have no chance of getting him people assume we have £8.6 million to spend we dont we have about £3 mil to spend with the rest in installments thats why we got a top deal for fer as he's highly rated player yet we try arse around with the deal after its been accepted trying to be cheapskates and it backfired on us, we will sign some mid table spanish player or someone like that for a couple of mil nothing big will happen.

68 goals in 161 games ?

And just because Swansea got Michu for £2m doesnt mean every club can get players for that cheap, that's not how it works. Michu has been seen as a massive find for a reason.

Also, Michu is 26...

I've always wondered what the major fuss is about. His strike rate aint bad but I've seen alot better. You'd expect a top striker to score one every two games on average. Think he falls a little short at present.

But mearly pointing out its a lot of money when there's Jelavic, Hernandez, Ba's etc out there.

Strike rate isn't a problem, it was just comparing to other at the same level, bought for less.

Darren Bent has a better strike rate in the prem and we'd probably get him for the same price
