Negredo

Cost effective risks though. 5mill for the top striker in Scotland etc isn't a bad gamble.

Don't forget we're blowing all our cash on this feller. Expecting Yakubu style goal return if it comes off.

Cost effective because they worked out

Some do, many don't. I'd rather we don't take risks now when we're so close to the Champions League. Spend a bit more now to get a guaranteed quality player to improve our chance of getting £20m worth of revenue from CL qualification.

Everton offered 15 million by Negredo

31/01/2013 12:59

Everton needs a striker to face the rest of the season with guarantees of gol in order to enter Champions League jobs, since currently only available Víctor Anichebe and Nikica Jelavic in the attack. For this reason, the Toffees, fifth in the classification of the Premier, would be willing to offer 15 million Euros by Ã￾lvaro Negredo.

Not really, if it doesn't, the price ain't a burden.

10mill for this feller who couldn't hit a barn door at 27 wouldn't have been a smooth move. 5mill maybe. Lol

£5m for Jelavic plus his wages would have been a burden if it had not worked out. He's not on buttons.

Even if a player is only on £30k a week he'll cost you nearly 5 mill over the course of a 3 year contract.

And then if it doesn't work out, we've wasted our chance to get 4th.
