Aren't the concepts to get rid of the docks and have a canal from one end to the other with that park?

I'm sure they've got a good idea of what they want to do with it, half of it being another venue for sports, hospitality or whatever would be good with me.

No one else is after it in a rush or has the finances to do anything - part of me things this is what our previous oligarch overlord wanted to do.
 

He didn’t say that. He said “sports-led redevelopment.”

What point he was trying to make is a little unclear from the quotes.

Firstly, referring to the stadium and associated development in Liverpool:



So he’s introduced the term “sports-led redevelopment” there to refer to the wider regeneration with the stadium as the anchoring catalyst.

He then went on to say:



He’s using the same term there. I think by sports-led he’s again referring to the stadium being the thing that’s leading the associated redevelopment.

I don’t think there’s going to be another indoor arena on Liverpool’s waterfront. I don’t think this is evidence of that, anyway.

They've already done a survey on a new indoor arena there.

They should build a glass and steel super hotel on it to entertain rich investors and celebrities to enhance investment and online engagement.
