The rain, it raineth every day
Is there a big following for basketball in the North West ?
P&O love sea days , they make loads of money in alcohol sales .Only my opinion of course but P&O too embedded down there. As an example, their Norwegian Fjord cruises turned down a proposal from Hull to use that port as a base. Doing so would save two days at sea.

Looks like a private enterprise...the company in question seems to do Hospitality at race tracksThat's not the club offering that is it.
Looks modular / containerised. Probably almost ready off site now, just needs landing on the site and bolting together / connecting to utilities. That looks excellent. But not sure if it'll be ready, and looking that smart at the start of the season.

I'd used to have a bar myself which was half containers half brick and we asked the architect to make sure you'd struggle to realise you were in a container which he did, thankfully.Thought that mate, lashing a couple of shipping containers up the fair side of Nelson Dock, for a Stella and a Curry! £2500 bills a season.
I agree...The whole area will lose its character if they fill the dock in.I don’t want the Nelson Dock filling and building on. It will just box the stadium inn.

So whilst am not against the using containers you absolutely have to make sure if you're charging people big money they need to feel like they aren't eating and drinking in the the middle of an industrial site.
I like the look of it personally but you know it all about how it looks on completion.
That's a very good point. Can do amazing things with modular structures these days - people are living in them now.
I think its the location that makes this who doesn't want to be supping drinking looking at the waterfront on a sunny day.
What annoys me a bit about this though, is initiatives like this cash in on the club without anything going to the club.
That's a very good point.
Probably the reason TFG are eager to hoover up the rest of the surrounding area, hopefully they move quick because you can monetise every inch of Nelson if you wanted, something obviously not lost on them.
