Making the site look awful on my Mac.

Getting horrible big ones at the top and the ones inbetween the posts look messy and intrusive and don't do the site any good at all IMO.
But then again you have to get some money so beggars cant be choosers
Hi Dan,
I think I know where this may have been coming from. Should be fixed by now.
Is there any chance you could post an update into forum thread that we have applied a fix? And if anyone is still experiencing problem, ask them to post a screenshot?
Thanks a lot
Still having the same issue. CSS conflict?
I am getting big arrows in the menu bar as well. Nearly cover up the tabs. On Chrome.
Browsing the site on Firefox and the banner at the top of the page looks a bit out of place and interferes with the menu. Doesn't affect functionality but looks a bit messy.
Tried it in a new browser (with no cache) and it displays ok.
I would urge caution though with banners. The cycling forum I go on has the kind of banners that extend out, so you'll be reading a thread and the page will scroll up and down because of the ad doing things.
Likewise, it seems common for newspapers to have auto-playing videos and growing banner ads.
Both are horrendous for usability and I'm sure any clicks are purely by mistake by people thinking they're interacting with the page and an ad pops up out of the blue.
Unless banner ads pay a whole lot more per thousand impressions than they used to, I'm not sure they're worth the while.
.....yep, same here. Very annoying, making navigation more difficult. Mega big advert at the top.
His is working now after clearing cache, can you do likewise please mate? If not, screen grabs appreciated.
