Not buying new - cannot afford that. Are you buying new or second hand, what budget?
Peugeot 308 estate are decent enough and relatively cheap at the moment.
Deffo have a look on auto trader or gum tree then. You can get a full spec decent mileage Peugeot 308 sw estate for 7500-10000 sheets. Not buying new - cannot afford that.
Don't really want to spend more than £10k tbh.
I'm convinced whatever car you take to a mechanic/scrapyard they will tell you what you're driving is crap or the 'yard is full of them'No tooo a Ford focus to the scrapyard last year only 45k on the clock my late father in laws car failed the MOT .....a rust box on wheels the scrapyard consistent 80 percent in his yard were Ford's .......the R stands for rust he stated .....

Sell yours now with high used prices and get a cheap run around until car prices crash..Hello knowledgeable patrons of GOT,
Currently got a Renault Captur (diesel) as the family runaround but my commute has recently changed from an hour to twenty minutes so I want to get a petrol car.
Any recommendations? Want something that's cheap to run, comfortable and big boot preferably. I'll most be doing 20/30 minutes journeys in it.
Also, if I'm going to sell mine, has anyone used Cazoo? They've given me a reasonable quote to buy mine but has anyone ever dealt with them?
Cheers in advance.

Agree on Skodas mate, tremendous value cars. Was that an online quote from Arnold Clark or did you take it in? What car do you have mate?I went to sell a motor last week. We buy any car offered 9.4K. Went into Arnold clark and got 14k for it. Shop around mate. Absolute silly money for buying and selling motors at the moment. Or just wait and ride this absolute mess out.
Depends what you want to use it for, some cheap insurance, tax and MOT exempt clàssics about. With a few basic tools you can service them yourself. Not buying new - cannot afford that.
