Every Evertonian can have their say and help to shape the new crest design. There are various ways to get involved:

Online - Every fan can complete a questionnaire on evertonfc.com to provide their feedback on how they want the new crest to look and the importance of the individual elements from previous crests. There will also be an option for fans to upload their own designs, sketches or make further comments. More information on this will be available on evertonfc.com in the coming days.
Focus groups - A series of focus groups will be set up with representative supporter groups such as Supporters’ Clubs, Shareholders, the Fans’ Forum, the new Junior Fans’ Forum, the Everton Heritage Society and the Everton Former Players’ Foundation.
Supporters will have the chance to submit feedback until Sunday 15 September 2013.

Fairly detailed I thought?

well, where is the questionaire then?

Don´t think it´s up yet.

Great initiative this by club, really good handling of it.

I´ve seen some fantastic badges made by fans on this site and others. I hope those who made will upload so the club gets a chance of seeing what the fans want.

So looking at the time frame on the website, the new, finalised version of the redesigned badge will be selected and announced on 3rd October. That's only 6 weeks away!! Seems a bit of a quick process. I assume they need all that time to start getting next season's merchandise prepared?

Bit surprised they're doing it all so quickly. Bit of a rush job? ****ed up once again? Wouldn't have surprised me if they'd have done an open poll on the OS and 500,00 RS from India voted on it to pick the worst design!

Excellent stuff from the club, no other club the size of ours would do something like this. Time to stop whinging about the new badge and focus on getting the re-design right

Of all the badges I've seen this is hands down the best:

I personally believe the wreaths are more important than the date; 1878 is a very recent addition to the badge and you don't see dates on other clubs' badges - I can't think of any in fact. The wreaths are as historic as nil satis, they have to be on any new badge IMO

Its still the fat monster shield, stop it now.

Unfortunately it take absolutely no account of the crest in use. Put that badge on a shirt of a player on the pitch, or as a small icon on the side of an article/press release and that motto will appear as a smudged line.

Surely they need time to get things in place?

They're taking a positive step to correct a mistake, why criticise?

I would have anything along the lines of 1983 - 2012
