I know I shouldn't be getting so upset about this new badge but I feel like the club doesn't give a flying **** about us fans and that is filling me with dread for the upcoming appointment and whatever transfers funds will (or more like won't) be available to them.

Wow some of the arse seeing on here over a badge ffs

If you dont like it dont buy anything with it on

Think it's more the principle Del.

Breathtaking arrogance by the Club. They've acknowledged they knew it was leaked, saw the feedback but proceeded anyway.

I think I've just made it slightly better.

It's still awful but seriously, lose the navy (which makes it look like a cartoon) and make it slightly thinner.

Exactly what I was saying! That marries together a lot better.

I like it.... Also having previously work in the sportswear industry I know how expensive and inefficient it is to have complex designs that need to be embroidered on clothing. This new design is much simpler and will significantly increase the profit margin on club merchandise which can only be a good thing.

Controversial I know but just being realistic.

People go and read the PDF I published in the kenwrong thread.............look at the official comments from Everton

Out of touch? no... out of their minds

i certainly won't del. But i still don't want to see my beloved club look like a laughing stock to the rest of society for the enxt at least 5 or so years whilst this badge will be ours. Knowing our luck, they will decide that no more changes to the badge will be needed for another quarter of a century and kenwright will go on to be the oldest man ever whilst still owning our club

Mate theres alot more to worry about for us as a club than a new badge

We have a stadium that is falling apart, A chairman who is as much use as a chocolate cock,No manager,No money and a debt that will never be serviced

I think to have nil satis nisi optimum on the new badge would be a bigger joke as its defo not what this clubs about with these lot at the wheel

To answer the OP's poll in my own words, I will still buy things, but I'll swerve the badge unless there's a truly exceptional kit.

I don't suppose fans of other clubs give two hoots about it. I mean would we be crawling over badge changes at other clubs?

And we're not petitioning about stuff that really matters !

Good post Del.

I can't see how this will bring about increased profits. It may be cheaper to make, but it also looks cheap which will effect sales.
