In his early days sure, some people on here were not even born then!

His record when spending real money was not quite as good as when working on a small budget.

you mean Billy and Heightinga ? They weren't great signings, but I know we only got them last minute in the transfer window after we sold Lescott late on. Heightinga, ( spelling i know) actually got player of the season in his first year for us. Fellaini was expensive for us, another last minute signing, he was an excellent buy, who we made a huge profit on, sold him to buy Lukaku.

Moyes was the reason we weren't relegated not Bill mate, he worked miracles on a none existant budget, fuelled by players sales, asset stripping and debt. David Moyes for me kept us afloat with his astute transfer bargains and an eye for under performing talent, he probably overstayed his welcome by two or three years but that's not his fault.
They were a partnership, worked together, Moyes could of been sacked with a less sensible owner, see the last 5 years under Moshiri

Oh god, people now claiming he wasnt sacked by Wolves.

They mutually agreed he was a crap manager and they sacked him.
He absolutely was sacked but that doesn't mean he deserved it.

I'd like it to if we'd sacked Moyes for coming 17th the season after we came 7th, or 11th the season after we came 4th

I said when this was reported I thought he'd do well. With the backing of the fans, I still think he would, but the reaction has been so negative he'd have to win his first 10 games to even stand a chance. He really is on a hiding to nothing.

Trying to find positives.

Hes not Marco Silva or Big Sam and I remember when they battered us 3-1 at Goodison in their first season back, the played nice football that day. That’s it. Oh well.

Whoever followed Ancelotti was getting a tough gig. But especially for a manager who hasn’t pulled up any trees in this league already, it won’t be good IMO.

Here’s a benefit. We will be the first football club featured in….
