They’d come to the end of the road, a mutual parting.
Of course people who don’t want him will say he was sacked.
He’s managed Valencia, Porto and Wolves, we’ve had managers with much worse credentials from Wigan and Preston.

we went ambitious with Ratcelotti and he proper snided us.
Thing is its the right signing for us, some of the shouts on here have been a bit crazy, Conte would of been crazy, like Carlo turned out to be, the Lille manager comes from a joke league, Potter did sound good but he was contracted to Brighton, Nuno is a good fit for us once we accept where we are, and he cant be worse then Carlo, he just cant be

Who exactly did people want?. Did some of you honestly believe we was going to to get Conte? Simmone?. Or did you all just want Galtier because you found out who he was last week?.

I joked the day Carlo left that people would be after a manager they had never heard of in a few days time and its exactly what many did with Galtier, they wanted him but for no logical reason

This is it, I don’t know why people are losing their heads over Nuno, if it is to be him. We were absolute turd after Xmas (RS excepted). The ‘worlds greatest manager’ could only get us 10th. So either he’s past it or we have a crap squad....... I’m leaning towards the latter. So whoever is appointed has a mammoth task on their hands.
Exactly a world class manager couldn’t get this team higher then 10th so what this guy gonna do 12-15th

I wanted him because all the familiar names were so underwhelming. Galtier might have bombed big time, but it still would’ve been a more exciting appointment, for the very reason that not many of us knew what to expect.

At least with Nuno we know we’re signing up for more stagnant football.

No idea if he'll be good or not, but he turned Wolves around from day one, showed he can develop players and 7th in first two seasons back is good for promoted side.

Definitely won't be taking any notice of 'the we're lucky to have Carlo, he's untouchable' firm on here. Credibility in shreds.
