Got a permanently underachieving Wolves team promoted at the first time of asking as champions, two 7th place finishes, fa cup semi-final, europa league quarter final, developed Coady and Docherty into players, sorted Jota and Neto into superstars, took Jiminez from a permanent sub to best centre forward other than Kane in the Prem, unified the Wolves fan base, and believe me we’re gutted to see him go. I could go on.

What did your managers do in the same time other than flinging money around left right and centre?

just saying......

so why did he leave? I’m not having a dig at Wolves per se. You’ve done better than us. But that’s not a high bar, now is it?

We think budget plain and simple. He didn’t want to leave but he wanted to progress, and we think Fosun aren’t able to spend this season without selling. Rumours are Patricio Neves and Traore will be sold to fund rebuild.

Galtier is not a risk free choice either. In fact no one has any idea how he would do. He's just the attractive choice based on last season and people don't actually know much about him. People have only latched onto that bandwagon because there is a little bit of the unknown and mystery with him. He could be great, I really have no idea, but some of the takes on him have been way over the top

Thing is maybe we tried this Galtoer fella, we might of spoke to several and they said no, but like chatting girls up in a club, if you ask enough eventually one will say yes, and that was Nuno.
