I would imagine the field narrowed considerably last week. Reports were we were unlikely to approach Moyes without West Ham’s blessing and it sounds like Galtier is honouring his agreement with Nice. Sounds like the only candidates left were Nuno, Martinez and Rafael.

The only candidates in the whole wide world. Just those three.

Id really like someone to explain why i keep reading lists like this?

The world is full of managers.

Wenger moved from Nagoya to London.

Giving his word means sod all, really. If its not written down on a contract he's fair game. I'd be disappointed to find out we'd stop pursuing him cause of that.
I imagine we put the feelers out and he most likely laughed at a midtable English club wanting his services and decided to keep his original decision

Am I enthused by Nuno? No, I would have preferred a better and more successful manager. The club are clearly settling for second best, the email DBB sent out where they are aiming for the stars is clearly just mugging the fans off but that is probably for another thread.

Will I get behind him? Yes for the good of the club.

Will he get criticism? Yes where I feel it is due, doesn`t mean I want him sacked unless it goes south very quickly (as some are expecting). By the same token he will get credit where it is due.

What I`m not keen on the mass influx of Portugese players that is likely to happen with Gomes being the main man no doubt, I`d rather see English or local players given the chance....

Just my take, how is everyone else feeling? Nothing we can really do about it.............

We've got to back him though Eggs.

Can you imagine the uproar if GOT was around when we appointed Moyes, or Kendall? Neither of whom had managed in the top flight, or even achieved promotion to it.

In short, I'm convinced 'popular' opinion would have stopped those two appointments.

So yeah, most people on here haven't got a clue, and as far as I'm concerned, the overall opinion on here is not worth the paper it's not even written on :p
GOT is not popular opinion......never was.

Skybet have just reopened the betting for the “next Everton manager” after suspending it a few days back
