Not sure why the ???'s?

You said he established them in the premier league and took them down through no fault of his own. He had a couple of months to keep them up.

Then he had 2 seasons in the premier league. 10th and then 13th. They were sliding again.

He is finished.

What I would say is that if Nuno is in any way uncertain whether he wants the job, or is making any demands of us, then we should end discussions immediately. If he's not fully committed we should find someone who is, because this is a very good job for the vast majority of managers out there.

Tbf if its down to his entourage he has every right to stamp his feet.

If he doesnt want to work with Dunc then Dunc has to go unless we have the wrong target.

He didn't take them down, McClaren did. Hell, he nearly rescued them against all odds with some of the best form in the league.

He then took them up and kept them mid-table, revitalising the squad and they haven't gone down since, with many of their best players still being Benitez signings.

To paraphrase:

"Vitor Pereira is the same as Marcelo Gallardo and Ruben Amorim".

You cant explain yourself...youre saying successful mangers over different periods of time are flavours of the month and compared them with an unsuccessful journeyman manager -- youve described in the same language.

Thats nonsensical, illogical and wrong.

Doesnt sound like youve been an evertonian for long...Gallardo was interviewed before as per the media you seem to worship.

Thanks for the snide remarks at the end of your post...
You populate every thread with antagonism so don't be playing the woe is me card.

I'll explain it to you in layman's terms then. The likes of Gallardo and Amorim smack of Peirera in the way that they are currently popular choices without fans knowing too much about them (like VP was) and could well likely fade into obscurity and be forgotten by the fanbase in no time (like VP was). That's all I'm saying and I don't consider it a wildly unreasonable comparison. If you disagree, that's fine, but let's leave it there because we need to talk about Rafael...

13th. Yes. In the last 19 games of the season, they were 7th in the form table. They started the season off badly, but form picked up. Actually finished on more points in the season where they finished lower.

No one seems to be grasping what’s going on .We are going through an interview process like any job the candidates are interviewed & the one who ticks all the right boxes gets the job & if all the applicants are not available ie the euros are taking place we may wait to speak to them .

like any one who carry’s out interviews knows your opinion of who is most suitable can change dramatically during this process so be patient & the right manager will be appointed
