Joachim Loew would be an interesting appointment

He has actually won stuff as a club manager but that was years ago

Two things that work in his favour are that he's already overseen a long-arching big process with Germany, so he has experience in long term development of players, and his Germany team were known to be a very good footballing side when in their pomp

My only thought would be how good he would be at attracting players? Certainly winning a World Cup would help in that regard

Are we in a better position now as a club as we were when he came in.
We have signed 4 players . 1 will leave. 1 is nearly 30. We need about 5 new signings.
I don't think his reign here can be deemed a success. If he had stayed maybe but not now.

it all can’t now but some can be ( away wins ) includin at the pit, and Dcl scoring more goals

we now are back to square one as a club who ever it is will have the same problems with these leeches of players we have

Alright, he’s been a key part of a team that got relegated without reaching 30 points.

Better?
Sure.

I think if you followed him closely though as I did you'd say he's shown a lot this year. That team was woeful and Parker's solution was actually the same as Carlo's in that he just stopped trying to do anything but win tight games. And that hurt a lot of his final third figures, but he did a lot of useful things still.

Let's just say if in a hypothetical world Lookman could come back I'd happily have him. I think he's still got more to show. And who knows maybe Jesse Marsch is a fan.

There’s years ago and then there’s last century.

The opinions of someone who wants the club to stay at a ground they've never been to and bin off BMD

Howard Kendall only had two seasons as manager and hadn't worked in the top division before he came to us so let's give Big Dunc his chance. He's had a year to learn from Carlo and he knows the club and squad inside out. He's not afraid of making big decisions and there would be some form of continuity rather than starting from scratch again.

German Cup 25 years ago

He's developed two teams in relatively short space of time.
His teams have an identity.
He's ambitious and young enough to see this job as progression.
He seems intelligent.
He plays youth.

He's not ideal but then who is.
Were asking questions we didn't think would be asked this time yesterday.

Poch
Rodgers

Developed teams at more than one club.
Aside from that I see only moyes or Potter who has done the same.
It's a good pint. I am sure there are other coaches out there who can rebuild. I would look at Germany that seems to be where the forward thinking coaches are working...
