Well this is like the third straight season where our wingers have been utterly awful and we could have used Lookman.

I mean you'll never admit that but it still holds true.

I will admit that our wingers are awful, but I was absolutely not wrong about Lookman being crap, and he has proven me right by being bench fodder for a relegated team.

Forgive me I just want to see a bit more than a bottom half finish with Brighton just not seeing it yet
That's fine. As I said it isn't about results. You have to believe that there are things you can do that will bring results even if they don't work in the moment. I believe Potter's teams do these things and so I'd seek that out.

I really believe if you give him a DCL that can reliably finish chances in close you'd see Brighton shoot up the league rapidly. We already have that piece.

Anyone mentioned Mark Hughes, Martin O Neil yet?
Just wheel out the usual suspects.
Honestly bored of this every 18 months.

Sad to see Carlo jump ship, but after the start of the season we have been dreadful. Worst football I've ever seen. Players have been prancing round on the pitch. Whoever comes in must have some drive and want to stamp his mark on the club. We need a manager that has an Alex Ferguson type persona to sort this mess of a club out.

Emery just parks 2 buses and hopes his team have a couple of shots on target. Not what we need. Ditto benitez. No thanks.

Again don't disagree we don't have the foundations or identity it needs to be rebuilt over time so yes a young hungry coach. But what have you seen in Potter that says he can do it? Personally I think it would be too soon for him

He's developed two teams in relatively short space of time.
His teams have an identity.
He's ambitious and young enough to see this job as progression.
He seems intelligent.
He plays youth.

He's not ideal but then who is.
Were asking questions we didn't think would be asked this time yesterday.

Poch
Rodgers

Developed teams at more than one club.
Aside from that I see only moyes or Potter who has done the same.
