Rather than making an irrational and quick announcement, just see which managers actually put their hands up with a motivationbto manage Everton.

Otherwise give Dunc a go for a full season. He can't go any worse than 10th again can he? Anyone at the club or in this delusional fan base expecting us to seriously challenge for top 6 next season needs a check-up.

Brands just needs to focus on getting 3-4 young, hungry players in like Max Aarons. No need to target any high profile discard from foreign league.
Yes he most certainly can, we were already dipping in performances right as Ancelotti was appointed

In all honesty, the more i think about it, the less arsed I am in him leaving. Granted we had a couple of good results against teams we previously didn't turn up against, however our home form against some shocking sides were as bad as i can remember.

Is it a great loss in the grand scheme of things...probably not, players were coasting on the nicey softly approach and that was not going to be changing anytime soon.

As for who to get in, honestly would not have a clue. I am not up on my hipster European Managers and as for Eddie Howe, Sean Dyche, David Moyes, i would rather shove 10 pounds worth of 50 pence pieces up my foreskin.
Great point, poetically made.

well we won’t now unless who comes in hits the ground running. And we’ve been through the Duncan route, and said before he doesn’t want it yet

As an American who goes to stadiums resembling BMD frequently I really just think you guys are overestimating how much it'll do for us.

City, Spurs, Arsenal, Wham and Newcastle all have the same stadium. There is one Goodison. I just think that means more than some corporate suites and a few concerts in the summer.

WTF

Well, we cant use the "we need a proven winner, a well respected successful name in world football" line anymore can we. Been there done that now.

So, Is Mike Walker available?

The TV revenue dwarfs that substantially though. It obviously doesn't hurt but I just wonder if it is worth it. It's a romantic thing for me I'll admit, but I just like classic stadiums staying in sports. We're running out in football. San Siro is going. San Mames went. Bernabeu is getting done again so it'll soon barely resemble the past. All for money too.

I love goodison, it’s been a right of passage since 97 for me, I’ve spent every other week there for as long as I can remember.

But TV Revenue isn’t a constant, the deal already reduced from last time and we can’t afford to rely on just that. Every other big club has pushed through, yet have 6 boxes.

We can’t redevelop goodison, and in 2021, we can’t be having 8,000 obstructed view seats... it’s not what it’s all about.

Weird, here's me thinking he bought Fellaini for 15m, Yakubu for 11m, Bilylaughyaheadoff for 11m, Beattie for 7m etc,

Fact is, Moyes best signings were bargains, the type of bargains that do not exist in modern football.
Moyes usually has a good eye for players that will perform in the premier league...with some exception of course...soucek is the perfect example...what a bargain. I can see maybe struggling in Europe where tactically he is not as good as some of those big European managers. But in the premier league, he will get you results.

Big Dunc for me. Put a bit of fight into the team and get the crowd behind us.

Cant see us attracting anyone on par with Carlo now especially off the back of that season.

Football has evolved now.

Nottingham Forest came up ahd won the league, then two European cups.

When did a team last get promoted, then win the league? Qualify for Champions League?

Duncan can be kept around the club, but never, ever as manager.
Leicester pretty much got promoted, won the league etc

The thing I fear is being stuck in the cycle again.

Ancelotti clearly knew what he wanted to do with the squad in the summer.

What's the new manager going to do, see what players like Iwobi, Coleman, Sigurdsson etc can do in their hands? Maybe even worse and get in their own equivalent of Iwobi or Sigurdsson.

And also maybe fans like to have a bit more comfort at a game . Have a bite to eat or a drink in comfort. Go for a whizz at half time and not miss 5 minutes of the second half due to the queues .
Goodison has been wonderful. But it's totally outdated.
