Wouldn't it be great if Brands or DBB sat down in front of Everton TV and just told the fans what the process for hiring a new manager was and who they were looking for to move the club forward.

Instead of just letting the media run wild, get fans fuming and make the club look like even more of a mess and a joke.

Like the other day with the Echo article about the stadium moving forward and works beginning. Why is that coming from the Echo? Why are people on the forum using vesselfinder.com to see the dredger in the dock?! Where the **** is Colin Chong?! Why's he not all over Twitter down at the dock in a blue high vis and blue hard hat telling us that works have started.

The whole setup is a complete shambles or at least it's being portrayed as that because there is zero communication.

For me the only person who said it was truly NuON was King, the others used clever wording which gives them a get out, IMO.
Indeed. But it's transparent now that they are clueless. They are covering their arses. They know about as much as we do. Farhad throws more shapes and shimmies than our entire midfield put together.

Gutted, hope it not true. If it is, we may aswell get Gerrard as his assistant and just cement our obsession with wanting to be the RS, i always though it was a horrible media driven kopite thing, but it seems to be true.

Strikes me as different people feeding journos different things.

Its a proper Game of Thrones atm.
The only way this reflects well on how the club is run is if it leads to the sensational unveiling of Diego Simeone.

Otherwise, we look like a dysfunctional rabble, riddled with factions, all angling for influence.

Guillem Balague: Rafael Benitez is 'perfect' appointment by Everton

Everton appear to be on the verge of announcing Rafael Benitez as their new manager at the end of this week.

TalkSPORT and Jim White have reported that the announcement is on the brink after positive talks on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Agree, I have worked in PR and clear and consistent communication with fans is key. I fear they prefer silence because they are all pulling in different directions, so would rather keep us in the dark...to rely on the competing reports of journalists instead.
